We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible, authoritative Word of God. Our ministry emphasizes the exposition of God's Word from Genesis to Revelation, verse-by-verse, line-upon-line, precept-upon-precept. We believe that the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments were divinely inspired of God and are our sole basis for faith. They are the complete, full and final authority on all matters of faith and practice for the Christian Church. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His Virgin Birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, His death on the Calvary's cross to atone for the sins of mankind through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His forthcoming return in power and glory. We believe He is the only mediator between God and man. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God. We believe in the present and working ministry of the Holy Spirit. That He dwells in and enables the born again believer to comprehend and apply the Word of God; to live a godly life; and that His power and gifts are at work and available to believers today. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe
it is important to uphold the scriptural practices of the early church.
Therefore, we hold to the practice of water baptism and participating
regularly in Communion. We do not believe that either of these practices
is essential for salvation, but that they serve as a demonstration of
our living faith in Christ. |

| Church government at Calvary Chapel is very simple; it is not a complex bureaucracy with committees and sub-committees. We believe that scripture has provided a perfect model for His Body, the Church to function here on earth. Ultimately, Jesus is the Good Shepherd, Who guides
His flock here on earth, but by the power of His Spirit, He appoints
and raises up earthly shepherds to oversee and care for the flock.
(1 Peter 5:1-6). With this in mind, the pastor is accountable for
all matters of his fellowship, and all such matters fall under the
accountability umbrella of our church leadership. |

| We believe worship of God should be spiritual, therefore we remain flexible so the Holy Spirit may lead our worship. We believe worship of God should be inspirational, therefore we give a great place to music in our worship. We believe worship of God should be intelliigent, therefore, in our services we emphasize Biblical teaching so God may instruct us how He would be worshiped without distraction. We believe worship of God is fruitful, therefore
we look for His working in our daily lives as evidence that we are
truly worshipping Him. |
